CEO/Founder

She has a B.Ed. in guidance and counseling from University of Ado Ekiti, M. A in International Relations and Strategic Studies(Benue State University, Makurdi) with over 10 years' experience in administration and public relations. She has been consistent in her desire to create a safe life for those she can access, there is an endless list of empowered women, continuous upkeep of children she Isn't family or friends or neighbors with, assisted birthing of infants by abused and rejected teenage mothers, countless widows have smiled because of her effort.

Emeka S.C Iweka

COO/National Coordinator

He provides supervisory services and necessary guidance to BDSF volunteers and helps promote and maintain a suitable environment for teamwork within the BDSF team. With a B.Sc in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Benin, and a Masters in Meteorology & Climate Science from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, HSE certified, a Project Management Professional and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Project Management with over seven (7) years' experience in Operations and Project Management. He ensures apt coordination of all projects implemented in BDSF and ensures there is a cordial inter-NGO relationship and also a good relationship between the different bodies of government and other sectors that influence the foundation.

Dr Adetayo Fashola

National Medical Coordinator

He’s a graduate of medicine from the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso Oyo State where he acquired his MBBS. Ensuring utmost coordination of our powerful projects, which is being done 12 times a year across different states where we run Malaria, HIV, Blood Glucose level tests , Blood Pressure measurements and provide mosquito repellent sprays , treated nets and creams alongside prophylactic malaria medications as these slums are mosquitoe dominated areas Referral of severe cases to the nearest government hospital and bills are solely sorted by the organisation . Implementation of programs in Primary in communities on Environmental Health,Women Protection and Empowerment, Protection, Child protection, Education on Food security & livelihoods. Educating communities on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health indices especially in the Northeast Nigeria Provision of comprehensive Health Care service including Basic Emergency Obstetric , prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and education on Post Abortion Care Supervision and management of health activities within chosen communities Application of medical knowledge and skills to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment according to national health guidelines and protocols Identifying the need for referral to secondary care and prepare the patient for referral including referral notes, pre-referral treatment and arrangement of transport. Provision of on-the-job support to each team of medical volunteers across the nation including training and skills development as needed Ensuring adherence to infection prevention and control within and around each slum

Emmanuel Abiola Akomolafe

National Head, Waste to Wealth Unit

He is a graduate of political sciences in the National Open University of Nigeria . The waste to wealth initiative focuses on planning and creation of affordable technology in tackling and converting waste generated in the country into useful products. When you look into the gutters of various communities across Nigeria,a filthy sight is what you see mostly such as floating cans, nylon water sachets, empty bottles and other waste materials discarded by humans, swept there by rain, gathering and clogging up the drain causing flood and pile up of mosquitoes which eventually causes sicknesses. From 2019 till now we have built over a thousand wastepreneurs and reduced the rate of poverty in various less privileged communities across Nigeria by taking waste straight from the dump, transforming it and redefining its purpose. Our innovators work with different materials such as water sachets, scrap metal, bottles, plastic, tyres and more . We teach the skills of how to manipulate these objects, to make “beauty out of ashes” building wealth from wastes. Oversee waste conversions and mobilisation Supervision of cycled wastes inorder to ensure that it takes place efficiently without contaminating air, land or water sources Implementatione of new waste disposal schemes to ensure compliance with current legislation across the country Formulate and control budgets for waste cycling across the nation Provision of appropriate solutions, develop research projects and contribute to the activities of national groups concerned with waste to wealth innovation all over the nation

Janet Precious Idanwekhai

Southwest Coordinator, Waste to Wealth

A graduate of Public Administration from Lagos State University Nigeria and a highly skilled humanitarian executive with an impressive background specializing in slums project coordination. Assisting in the implementation of administrative and logistics activities of acquisition of wastes in communities across the southwest regions of Nigeria Assisting in keeping clear records for all administration and logistic operations, including preparation of training materials, work tools , and documentation, materials, for meetings and workshops/trainings where necessary in the southwestern communities Arrangements of gathered wastes in units for mobilization and conversions Providing logistical support to the team to ensure timely completion of activities as per the work plan Making timely arrangement to maintain built inventions and equipment in coordination and field offices across the southwest

Ojebode Matthew Sulaimon

Deputy National Coordinator

He holds an ND/HND in Secretarial Studies from Lagos State Polytechnic, which is now known as Lagos State University of Technology, B.Sc. in Business Administration from Charisma University, located in the Turks & Caicos Islands, UK and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Lagos State University. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated more than six years of valuable experience in administration. He has worked in various sectors, including education, insurance, and banking, demonstrating a versatile skill set and adaptability to different industries. Beyond his administrative skills, He is a proficient data analyst and a business intelligence professional. His expertise in data analysis enables him to provide valuable insights and make informed decisions in various business contexts. He is a proud member of the Nigerian Institute of Professional Secretaries, reflecting his commitment to professionalism and the highest ethical standards in his work. In his current role, he serves as a key figure in the coordination of projects implemented by the foundation across the states. He plays a crucial role in assisting the National Coordinator in ensuring the seamless coordination of projects, and he also supervises State Coordinators to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.

Donation of Items

This donations could take the form of clothing children between ages 0 -15 year, buying story and writing books, shoes, school bags, socks and other educational and medical empowerment items to make life easier and enjoyable for them.
